Monster Island (2019) By The Asylum By Decker Shado

Monster Island, the Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster, came out around the same date as Godzilla King of the Monsters. It is about a mysterious, monstrous creature who lives on an island. The island itself serves to symbolize the monstrous creature.


Asylum is a low budget picture. It focuses on a few human beings and concentrates the A-listers in one location to allow them to shoot their sequences during (Monster Island bad movie review) lunch. Let's not forget, however, that this is a film about kaiju, and that is how they work, so maybe The Asylum will do a better job.
